The Jungian Drift
Conversations about contemporary developments in Jungian psychology. Join us as we circumambulate the Jungian world!
We are student analytical training candidates at the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco in discussion with fellow students, local and visiting Jungian analysts and other people who are finding new and creative ways to apply Jungian ideas in the world beyond analysis.
On the first of the month we publish a new episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Youtube, Amazon/Audible and our website serviced by Buzzsprout, www.thejungiandrift.com.

Host Robert Carriger engages fellow candidate in analytical training, Eileen Cohune Brown, LMFT, in discussion of Edward Edinger's book "The Archetype of the Apocalypse" and its relevance to our challenging times. Eileen looks to California's native peoples for inspiration about how to preserve one's traditions and values in the midst of overwhelming adversity.
If the episode has left you wanting more, Eileen has written a paper on this topic: "Weaving Wholeness Through the Apocalypse: A Story of Resilience and Recovery" published in Jung Journal: Culture & Psyche (Spring 2026, Volume 20, Number 2). You can also find out more about Eileen's practice at marintherapyworks.com.
